Cavity Wall insulation is installed by a team of fully trained specialists approved by the BBA (see credentials). The material is blown through a specific drilling pattern of holes which will be made good with matching mortar. This process is illustrated below.

The Cavity wall insulation work is guaranteed for 25 years by an independent agency called C.I.G.A (Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency) who will issue you with a certificate of installation in due coarse.

The diagram to the left illustrates how the loft insulation is laid between the joists and then cross-laid to ensure maximum effect.
